Dr. Sami Kanerva has more than 20 years of experience in technology and product management positions, specializing in electrical power applications and system integration.

He received his D.Sc. (Tech.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology in 2005, and since then intensively worked on various technology concepts with renewable energy and marine segments.

Dr. Sami has conducted development of marine fuel cell solutions in ABB since 2017 and currently holds the Global Product Manager position at ABB’s Marine & Ports division.
